The Central Kyokushin Karate dojo has a long history of serving our community through women's self defense seminars, working with K-12 school children, participating in cultural events, and more.
WOMEN’S SELF DEFENSE SEMINAR
Typically offered fall, winter, and spring, this seminar series helps women identify potential threats, tactically avoid potential conflict, maintain emotional composure during conflict, and employ simple, effective techniques and strategies to maximize chances of escape, defense, and survival.

COMMUNITY EVENTS
Our dojo participates in a variety of community activities, including fitness and beginner self defense for elementary school children, cancer awareness demonstrations, community center work with teens, cultural exchanges, elderly self defense, reconstruction volunteer work, and other events.
